Yes. If you already have GPS tracks, digital mapping files or an existing printed map, we can assess these and use them as a starting point. We’ll identify any gaps and advise whether additional information or fieldwork is needed.

Depending on your requirements, we can supply print-ready artwork, downloadable PDF maps, digital maps and agreed GPS or GIS files. We’ll establish the required formats and sizes at the start of the project so the finished maps suit their intended use.

Yes. We can review an existing map and advise on updating routes, facilities, labels, branding or the overall design. The work required will depend on the quality of the source material and whether editable files are available.
 

We can also discuss future updates when planning a new map.

A brief description of your property or project, its location and how you intend to use the maps is a good starting point. If available, share existing maps, GPS tracks, brand guidelines and any examples of the style you have in mind.

You don’t need to have everything ready, we can help you work out what’s needed.

Not always. Some projects can be completed using existing mapping data and information supplied by your team. Where trails need to be recorded or checked, we can undertake a field survey to document routes, junctions, facilities and other relevant features.

Yes. We can design trailhead information boards, “You Are Here” maps, directional signs and trail markers. Where required, we can also recommend signage locations and develop a consistent system of route names, colours and symbols.

Our service covers signage planning and design. Physical manufacture and installation are arranged separately.

Each project is quoted according to its scope. Factors include the size and complexity of the trail network, the quality of existing data, whether fieldwork is required, and the number of map designs and formats needed.
