Matjiesrivier Nature Reserve
Matjiesrivier Nature Reserve is a Cederberg must-visit. The reserve hosts a network of caves, caverns and climbing crags. It is steeped in history, and is an open-air galley of preserved rock art dating back thousands of years.

Permits are required to visit the Staadsal and Trutjieskraal sites which are available for purchase at the CapeNature Algeria office or at any private tourism offices in the Cederberg Conservancy.
The site entrances are protected by padlocked gates.
Conservation fees are waivered with a valid Wild Card and proof of ID.
