Chapman's Peak

Few peaks on the Peninsula offer such incredible views for as little effort as this hike. Although shade is scarce, this hike should be on any bucket list, and is particularly pleasant as a winter activity.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Head straight up from the Day Pass Turn Around parking lot. At the fork on the saddle turn right and follow this path all the way to the peak.

TRAIL TRIVIA

Construction of Chapman's Peak Drive began in 1915 and was completed in 1922. It was built with the help of convict labour and not by Italian prisoners-of-war as is commonly believed.
